K C Shekhar, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Commerce (Wigan, UK) and is a Member of the British Institute of Management (London). He is also an Educational Associate Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Florida, USA). He retired as Professor from the Department of Post Graduate Studies in Commerce and Management, St Thomas College, Trichur and is presently Professor and Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Zambia.

Lekshmy Shekhar, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1989–90 after graduating in commerce from the University of Kerala where she was a rank holder. In 1992, she joined Yokogawa Blue Star, Bangalore, an Indo-Japanese collaborative company as the Deputy General Manager - Finance till she left for the US to join Discovery Communications Inc, Washington, DC. At present she is working as Manager, Global Enterprise Systems Support - SAP Finance, Discovery Communications Inc, Washington, DC, USA.
